Blood Donation Day at YGIA Polyclinic in Collaboration with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber
The established blood donation day organized by the Cyprus Shipping Chamber in collaboration with YGIA Polyclinic was held with great success on Monday, May 21st. The blood donation took place at YGIA Polyclinic’s conference room, with dozens of regular and volunteer blood donors coming, showing their love and support to our fellow humans. In total, 103 blood donors came and 90 bottles of bloods of all groups were collected.
The event was honoured with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Shipping, Ms. Natasa Pilidou, who also donated blood, wanting to spread the message that such social actions highlight the face of humanity and compassion of our fellow citizens.
The blood donation aimed at attracting new blood donors, as it an act of altruism and proof of social sensitivity.
