Participation of YGIA Polyclinic Private Hospital at the 2-Days Workshop of the National Breastfeeding Committee
The 2-Days Conference of the National Breastfeeding Committee was held with great success on October 5-6, with the theme "Creation of Infant Friendly Hospitals". YGIA Polyclinic had the opportunity to present the work and experience gained through the "Going Baby Friendly" initiative.
Dr. Maro Solomou made an introduction on how the whole initiative started, and analyzed the training program for the staff. Ms. Andri Christofidou described the procedures so far, while Dr. George Zachariades explained the auditing requirements of the "Baby Friendly Hospital" initiative.
The attendees were impressed with the progress that has been achieved so far by YGIA Polyclinic, and by the enthusiasm and love with which we have embraced thw initiative.
