Dr. Nichlos has graduated from the Medical School of the University of Cologne in Germany. He completed his specialization in Internal Medicine at St. Josef’s University Hospital in Bochum and “Evaggelismos” General Hospital in Athens. He also got his specialization in Intensive Care Medicine in the University Clinic for Intensive Care in “Evaggelismos” General Hospital.
He is a certified instructor of the European Resuscitation Council in ALS, ILS and BLS (Advanced, Immediate and Basic Life Support), has completed the postgraduate training for Prehospital Emergency Medicine of the National Center for Emergency Care in Greece and he is currently completing his Master’s degree in “Resuscitation” in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He is member of the Hellenic Society of Intensive Care Medicine, the Hellenic Society for Emergency Medicine, the Hellenic Society for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, the Hellenic Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery and the World Interactive Network Focused On Critical Ultrasound.
His main scientific interests are the holistic and individualized resuscitation of the critically ill patients and their support in the ICU, the support of vital functions with ECMO (ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), the use of Whole Body Bedside Ultrasonography and the advanced modes of hemodynamic monitoring and vascular access.
