International Women's Day (IWD) was originally called International Working Women's Day and is marked on the 8th of March of every year. In different regions the celebrations focuses on the respect, the appreciation and love towards women's economic, political and social achievements.

On this occasion, YGIA Polyclinic on the 8th of March, 2013 for a consequent year honoured the 300 women of the workforce by offering symbolic roses recognising their contribution to the workplace and society at large.
