Official Sponsor of the 11th Corporate Social Responsibility Conference Organised by IMH
YGIA Polyclinic was one of the sponsors at the 11th Corporate Social Responsibility Conference organized by IMH on Friday 6th of July 2018 at Hilton Park in Nicosia. The conference focused on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development.
The speaker on behalf of YGIA Polyclinic was its General Manager, Mr. Anastasios Bokaris, who developed the vision and values of the Hospital as well as the actions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition, he analysed the way in which the Hospital approaches CSR from a strategic point of view, and referred to Sustainable Development Goals and importance of Materiality Analysis for the Hospital. After concluding with his speech, Mr. Bokaris participated in a roundtable discussion regarding “CSR as a Strategic Choice for Cypriot Companies”.
During the conference and adopting the slogan “Good Health, Better Life”, a team from YGIA Polyclinic offered fruit to the attendees while encouraging them to choose the healthy habit that they would first adopt as a daily routine. The aim of this action was to promote a healthy lifestyle and to support the “Open Arms Hug” Association, since YGIA Polyclinic contributed a relevant amount to the Association for each healthy habit being chosen by the public.
Last but not least, it is worthwhile mentioning that YGIA Polyclinic, within the contest of its operation, reciprocates the trust of the society for the most valuable asset, HEALTH, through various actions and activities of CSR with a primary concern to the fellow human and then to society, economy and environment.
