DOWN SYNDROME WORLD DAY
They are special, as we are all. They are unique, as unique is each and everyone of us. They have special abilities, that we could never even imagine, as long as we give them the chance and allow them what should go without saying: The right to live! They excel in music, painting, crafts, and even the sciences. The examples are many. It depends on all of us whether they will excel and shine! It is the duty of society and of each one of us to ensure equal access of people with Down syndrome to the society, equal access to life! We support people with Down syndrome and their families, in practice, as the slightest evidence of our humanity and civilization.
