In order to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory test results, the Cyprus Organisation for the Promotion of Quality (CYS-CYSAB) - as a legal certification and accreditation entity of the Republic of Cyprus for certification under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry – proceeded with certifying the Clinical Laboratory of YGIA Polyclinic with ISO 15189:2012 standard requirements.

Following international standards, YGIA Polyclinic implemented an integrated system to ensure the specific accreditation that proves its technical competence.

The scope of the accreditation includes a wide range of diagnostic tests such as Biochemical, Haematological, Immunological, Hormonal and Microbiological.

This fact is of particular importance for YGIA Polyclinic, as this accreditation forms part of implementing the Hospital’s strategy towards offering high quality levels of service, for an enhanced patient and collaborating physician experience with the Clinical Laboratory.
