Dr Nikolaos Kalaitzis

Dr. Nikolaos Kalaitzis was born in Serres on May 13, 1974. He graduated from the Medical School of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2002. He worked as a resident doctor at the Surgical Clinic of the University of Munich until 2004. Following this, he served for 12 months in military service as a doctor in unit 162 A/K MBΠ and 7th M/K TXPZ. From April 2005 to July 2006, he was a resident doctor at the Orthopedic Clinic of 424 General Military Hospital of Athens. In the same year, he moved to Germany and worked as a resident doctor. He obtained his specialty title in Orthopedics and Traumatology on March 22, 2012. From the next day onwards, he worked as a specialized doctor. On January 9, 2014, he earned his doctoral title from the Medical School of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. From February 2015, he worked as a consultant. On April 23, 2016, he obtained the specialty title in Special Traumatology. He returned to Greece in November 2018, became a scientific collaborator in December, and from 2019 to 2021, he was an academic scholar at the 1st Orthopedic Clinic - "G. PAPANIKOLAOU" General Hospital of Thessaloniki.
