Δρ Αλεξάνδρα Κουμπή

Dr Alexandra Koumpi has over 30 years’ experience in ophthalmology and specialises in  glaucoma, and cataract surgery, which she now offers to her patients here in Cyprus.  Prior to this, Alexandra was Lead Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in the NHS in the United  Kingdom with a specialist interest in glaucoma, cataract, and medical retina.   She studied Medicine at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and then  completed postgraduate training at the University of Indiana and the University of Illinois,  USA, before returning to Greece to complete postgraduate training at the University of Athens  and qualify as an Ophthalmic Surgeon. Alexandra undertook extensive postgraduate training  in glaucoma from Moorfields Consultant, Professor Rupert Bourne in the United Kingdom.
