Dr Athanasios Kalabakas

Athanasios Kalabakas graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1978), specializing in Gastroenterology (1988), and underwent further training in London for 4 years on an IKY scholarship. He was awarded a PhD with honors from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1993. Since 1999, he has served at Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki as Director of Gastroenterology and also held the position of Director of the Pathology Department.

Dr. Kalabakas operates a clinic within the GHS (General Health System) and is affiliated with the Polyclinic YGEIA.
