Dr. Argyris Argyriou studied Medicine at the University of Vienna where he continued his specialization in Pediatrics.  His medical training continued at the Medical Department of Infectious Diseases of the Agia Anna Vienna Pediatric Hospital, at the Department of Pediatric Cardiology of the University Clinic of Vienna, at the Department of Neonatology and Congenital Anomalies of the University Clinic and in the Intensive Care Unit.

Since 1999 he has been practicing Pediatrics at his private practice in Limassol.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Pediatric Society and the Cyprus Society of Perinatal Medicine.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Theotokos Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Clinical Speech and Hearing Clinic of the European University of Cyprus.

Since 2006 he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Preventive Pediatrics, the exclusive body of national detection programs in Cyprus.
