Dr. Kalliafa is a graduate  from the University of Medicine in Bologna, Italy, while she obtained the specialty title in Anaesthesiology at the General Hospital of Patras, Greece. 

She is a member of the European societies of anaesthesiology  ESA and ESRA. With almost 10 years of experience in the field of anaesthesiology, she has administered anaesthesia in plenty of patients in almost all the surgical specialties. She has an advanced knowledge of anaesthesia techniques and technologies, mainly in performing ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.
